Peer Supportive Housing

Harvest Lodge, operated by Prairie Harvest Mental Health, offers peer supportive housing under the HUD 811 PRAC program, providing affordable living options for individuals with serious mental illness. Opened in 2002, the facility features six private bedrooms across two floors, communal kitchen, living room, and laundry facilities. Emphasizing a community-driven approach, residents engage in shared responsibilities such as cooking and cleaning, fostering a supportive environment. Employment is required for residency, aligning with the Fairweather Lodge Model to promote independence and mutual support among peers. Services including case management and limited nursing support are available to assist residents in maintaining an independent lifestyle while managing their mental health needs.
