The Rural Development Finance Corporation (RDFC) is now accepting applications for its 2024 grant program until July 1, 2024. RDFC, supported by North Dakota's rural electric and telecommunication cooperatives, aims to enhance economic diversification and community vitality through funding that promotes sustainable asset building. Grants are available for community-owned businesses, facilities, and various projects that benefit rural areas, such as cafes, grocery stores, motels, ambulance services, fire and rescue, hospitals, clinics, community centers, and school or youth projects. The initiative also supports workforce development through training and continuing education opportunities.
