Assuming the initial placement of asphalt was designed and constructed properly, the primary cause of asphalt failure is the penetration of water into the asphalt base
Through the use of American Pavement Preservations premium emulsion, produced at our state of the art production facility, our seal coat material (AMERICOATTM) is placed on existing asphalt making a smooth and attractive surface that resists deterioration from aging and protects the valuable pavement. Seal coating is typically applied on lower trafficked areas such as public residential and homeowner association streets, parking lots, and driveways.
