Founded in 1980 by a group of dedicated volunteers, Mt. Hood Hospice has grown while maintaining its core values. We were the first hospice in Oregon accredited by the Oregon Hospice Association in 1983 and the first community-based hospice to receive Medicare certification in 1987. Despite our growth, our mission remains the same: to provide the highest quality hospice care to the Sandy, Oregon community, emphasizing comfort, dignity, and choice.
