The Kirkland Fire Department is delighted to welcome community members back for station visits and scheduled group tours. Our six fire stations are now open to the public, offering opportunities to meet our firefighters, check blood pressure, and explore our fire trucks and aid vehicles. While we encourage impromptu visits, please understand that station access is subject to crew availability and daily activities. If crews are unavailable, we may ask you to return at a different time.
For scheduled tours and community events, we kindly request at least 20 days' notice to accommodate your request. Station tours are available Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and are approved on a case-by-case basis. Please note that tours have a maximum limit of 16 children and 4 adults, with a ratio of 4:1. Children must be at least 4 years old for scheduled tours. While we strive to fulfill all requests based on available resources, please understand that we may not be able to accommodate every request due to limited resources. Thank you for your understanding and support as we continue to serve and engage with our community.
