Free High-Quality Pre-K

United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra (UWNNS) is dedicated to enhancing early childhood education through the provision of Free High-Quality Pre-K programs in partnership with private early learning centers. These programs are available to eligible families with children aged at least 4 years old by August 1, 2023. UWNNS collaborates closely with the Nevada Department of Education and the United Way of Southern Nevada to offer access to high-quality early education to more than 150 children who would otherwise lack this opportunity. Our primary focus lies in establishing partnerships with private early learning centers in rural communities across northern Nevada, ensuring that children in these areas receive a strong foundation for their educational journey.
