Community Service Ideas

Have kids write letters to seniors in care facilities. These seniors would love to hear all about what kids are doing. A letter might look like this:

Hi! My name is Lizzie. I'm 8 years old. I'm in third grade and I have 2 sisters and 1 little brother. We have a basset hound named Grover. He howls all the time. Today we all went on a walk around our neighborhood, then we drew with chalk on the driveway. I like to read and draw.
