Our lapidary shop is the heart of our organization.

Our equipment for cutting and polishing rocks includes slab, trim and geode saws, Cab King machines, flat laps, and doping equipment. There are several faceting machines available for faceting class instruction. Metal detectors are available for rental.

A library about all aspects of lapidary arts, rocks, minerals, fossils, and associated information is maintained.

There is always a supervisor to assist and teach the proper

use of the equipment when the shop is open.

Fellow rockhounds are often at the shop and are a friendly

and helpful group.

There is a small hourly fee for use of the equipment.
