Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)

Berkel Training Institute first launched our Certified Phlebotomy Technician program in the early 2000s and is actually the second course we offered as an institute. The fundamentals of becoming a phleb are the same but the approach and science have improved. Those who have been in this field for a while may recall a time when recapping needles was acceptable, whereas now thats a big no-no. Why do you think this changed?

Program Description: To prepare students as certified Phlebotomist enabling them to work in a variety of clinical settings such as hospitals, blood donor centers, mobile phlebotomy settings, community health centers, and private office settings. Qualified students may apply to attend our competitive externship opportunities held at our training partners laboratory facilities.
