Street Department

The Street Department provides maintenance of city streets, alleys, parking lots, sidewalks, curbs, and handicap ramps. The department handles brush pick-up, yard waste pick-up, leaf pick-up, as well as snow and ice removal. We also handle city street sign maintenance, street sweeping, replace and repair of old catch basins as needed.

Leaf pick-up will begin on Monday, October 12th, and continue through December 4th, weather permitting.  Residents that reside south of Maumee Street will be on the Monday and Tuesday schedule and residents north of Maumee Street will be on the schedule for Wednesday and Thursday.  Please remember that your leaves must be at the curb, and NOT in the street.  Also, please avoid the piles being placed near parked cars and telephone poles.  For the safety of our workers, please do NOT put sticks, stones, or any other objects in the leaf piles.  Also, remember we do NOT pick up leaves that are bagged.
