Prevention Education


The Center for Prevention of Abuses Prevention Education department provides violence prevention education programming in Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties to nearly 35,000 students annually.  CFPAs team of educators helps schools and learning communities create a safe, supportive, and secured learning environment by meeting state-mandated educational programs through age-appropriate, evidence-based, and comprehensive curricula for pre-k-college age. Educational offerings include child sexual abuse prevention, social and emotional learning, bullying prevention, healthy relationships, general violence prevention, and safety. Training is available for school administrators, PTOs, parent universities, and community groups.
